WALK THE PLANK!

From the tradition of Northern
Michigan, the original E.G. Nick's
now offers PLANKED WHITEFISH.
It's cooked and served on a special
plank that holds all the delicious
whitefish flavor.

1500 Town Center, Southfield

827-4000

It's been open since
1976 and considered the favorite
dining and watering spot by
many people. They are consid-
ered like members of the family
by Gary and dad Jack Cochran,
who owned the Westerner Beef
Buffet on the same site before
turning it into the casual Beau
Jack's where people know each
other and enjoy the comaraderie
of the restaurant's family-type op-
eration.

Steve's Deli,

6646 Telegraph

Rd. at Maple, Bloomfield Plaza,

932-0800. It's slogan "A little bit
of New York right here in Bloom-
field Hills," is indicative of the re-
cently opened delicatessen that
has been receiving much ap-
plause. Featured are the old-time
deli pastrami of yesteryears, hot,
steamy corned beef, homemade
pastries, Rominik brownies, ap-
ple strudel and seven layer cake.
Dining in is amid a comfortable,
intimate atmosphere, and car-
ry-out is available of any item on
the menu. Great pride is placed
on Steve's tray catering.
