Mr. Lawrence Portnoy of Sum-
mit, N.J., and Mrs. Jaclyn Port-
noy of Bethesda, Md., (both
formerly of Southfield) are proud

their daughter, Laurel Beth, to
Neal Roger Sereboff, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jerome Sereboff of
Arnold, Md.

Ms. Portnoy is a graduate of

her master's degree in arts man-
agement at Carnegie Mellon Uni-
versity. She is employed at the
Baltimore Opera Company as a
development assistant.
Mr. Sereboff graduated from
the University of Maryland, Col-
lege Park and is director of
operations for FCT Telecom, Inc.
A May 1996 wedding is
planned.
