Plans Season
The Theatre Company, Univer-
sity of Detroit Mercy's award win-
ning group, will celebrate its 25th
anniversary season, culminating
in the opening of a new perfor-
mance space in renovated
McAuley Auditorium.
The season will kick off on Sept.
22 with All in the Timing, an
evening of comedies by David Ives
which will run through Oct. 17.
The second offering will be My
Sister in This House, by Wendy
Kesselman, part psychological
study and part thriller. It will run
Oct. 26 through Nov. 12.
The Time of Your Life is
William Saroyan's delightful por-
trayal of a group of bizarre un-
fortunates who inhabit a San
Francisco waterfront saloon. The
play performs Nov. 30 through
Dec. 17.
Drinking in America, is mo-
nologist Eric Bogosian's "gallery
of crazy drunks who straddle the
social gamut," performing Feb. 8
through 25.
The season will conclude with
On the Open Road by Steve
Tesich, opening March 22 and
running through April 9.
All productions except On the
Open Road will be presented in
the Earl D.A. Smith Theatre.
Season tickets (five plays for
the price of four) are $40. Single
tickets are $10. The Theatre
Company Box Office offers dis-
counts for students and seniors
on both season and single tickets.
Performances are Thursday, Fri-
day and Saturday at 8 p.m. and
Sunday at 2 p.m.
