Choral Group
Will Entertain

CHaZaKaH, the Adat Shalom
Synagogue seniors, will host the
choral group of the Music Study
Club of Metropolitan Detroit at
12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 22.
The afternoon will beg-in with
refreshments, after which the en-
tertainers will present renditions
of semi-classic music and tradi-
tional folk songs.
There is a $3 charge for CHaZ-
aKaH members and a $4 fee for
non-members. Please send
checks by June 15 to Arthur

Offers Classes

Kitchen Table III is a morning
class for moms and their babies,
birth through 15 months. Ruth
Beresh leads the class beginning
Wednesday, June 14, at 10 a.m.
at the Applebaum Parenting
Center.
Evenings at the Kitchen Table
provides evenings for moms and
their babies, birth through 15
months. Ruth Beresh leads this
class beginning Tuesday, June
20, from 7-8 p.m.
Bereavement Group is for
young widows adn widowers
with teen-age children or
younger. Session II begins June
20, from 7-9 p.m. Babysitting is
availably by reservation.
Create Jewish family trea-
sures in Artifacts is a ceramics
class designed for adults. Join in-
structor Carol Rock beginning
Wednesday, July 5, from 7-8:30
p.m.
For children ages 3-5 there is
Storytelling Under the Trees. It
will begin July 5, 2:45-3:30 p.m.
with instructor Shelley Meltzer.
Stretch and Stroll is a walk-
ing group lead by aerobics in-
structor Laurie Goldstein. It will
begin Tuesday, July 11, 9:45-11
a.m.

Lectures Series

On Monday, June 12, at 8:30
p.m., Rabbi Wine will present the
second of two talks on the theme
Jewish History: New Perspec-
tives. He will review Farewell Es-
pana by Howard Sachar.
Admission is $3 for members
and $4 for non-members. Dis-
cussion will follow the review.
