ROBERT RODD, 43, former
Detroiter of San Francisco, died
June 3. He is survived by his
parents, Thelma and Sam of
Southfield; brother and sister-
in-law, David and Sue of Boling

WENDY S. SAX, 52, of Chica-
go, died June 2. Ms. Sax was a
real estate executive assistant.
She was the beloved daughter
of the late Pearl and the late
Ben Sax and the dear niece of
the late Sandra Rubin. Ms. Sax
is survived by her sisters, Betsy
Leemon of West Bloomfield,
Margy Sax-Wilson of Pompano
Beach, Fla.; nephews, Adam
and Eric Leemon; aunt and un-

ESTHER SHAPIRO, 81, of
Farmington Hills, died June 1.
Together with her husband,
Mrs. Shapiro was a founding
member of Kibbutz Ein
Hashofet in 1936. She was also
a member of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund, ORT, Women's
Auxiliary of the United Hebrew
Schools, Bel Canto Choir,
Hashomer Hatzair and His-

late Ted Vosk. She is survived

EMMELINE LEVINE
WILLIS, 89, former Detroiter
of Van Nuys, Calif:, died June
1. A graduate of City College,
now Wayne State Univeristy,
Mrs. Willis taught first grade at
the Kennedy School in Detroit.
She was the wife of the late
Joseph Willis. She is survived
by loving nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-
nephews.
ESTHER ZYSKIND, 90, of
Southfield, died May 31. Mrs.
Zyskind was an active member
of the Radomer Mutual Society
and she was a Holocaust sur-
vivor. Mrs. Zyskind was the lov-
ing wife of the late Rubin
Zyskind. She is survived by her
daughter and son-in-law, Ida
and Dr. Myron Joyrich of
Franklin; grandchildren, Dr.
Richard, Lynne, Wendy and
Naomi Joyrich. Memorial con-
tributions may be directed to

Bloomfield or to a charity of
