"I was overwhelmed by the
beauty found in them," he said.
`They represent the struggle and
the coexistence of humans vs. na-
ture."
The artworks he crafts are typ-
ically in the range of 8 feet. They
sometimes use letters, pieces from
newspapers or magazines, or
many other materials that would
be thrown away by most.
As an artist, he's also learning
how to make a business work. The
gallery, called Avraham's Studio
and Fine Art Gallery, is a place to
hang his art and work his art.
"I'm just trying to make
enough money to keep going," he
said. "If I could spend most of my
time painting, I'd be very happy.
I'm still a new artist, and I think
that new artists as well as their
friends and other artists need to
see that you won't quit in two
years — that this is something
you want to do." ❑
