BBYO Teens
Plan For June

The BBYO Councils will hold
June meetings and Regional T ,ife
Ceremonies. BBG will meet at 4
p.m. Wednesday, June 7, and
AZA will meet at 4 p.m. Thurs-
day, June 8; both meetings will
be held at the Maple-Drake JCC.
BBYO/JCC Teen Connection
will host sixth through eighth
grade Jewish youth at the Teen
Connection trip to Cedar Point
on Tuesday, June 20. The bus
will leave Maple-Drake at 7 a.m.
and return at 10 p.m. The charge
for this event incudes round trip
transportation, admission to the
park, staff supervision and bagel
breakfast served on the bus.
Due to insurance require-
ments, all participants must be
Teen Connection members. Ap-
plications are due by Tuesday,
June 6. For application forms,
outing and membership infor-

Alan Levenson from the B'nai
Moshe Men's Club was installed
as president of the Great lakes
Region Federation of Jewish
Men's Clubs at its recent con-
vention in Waterloo, Ont.
Other officers installed from
Michigan were David Collis (Beth
Achim) as vice president and
Richard Racusin (Beth Shalom) as
treasurer. The installing officer
was Dr. Harvey Nussbaum (Adat
Shalom) who is international vice
president of the Federation of Jew-
ish Men's Clubs.

Machon Hosts
Lunch, Learn

Machon LTorah will hold an ed-
ucational lunch time conference
at The Jewish News on Tuesday,
June 12, at 12:30 p.m. Rabbi
Avraham Jacobovitz will lead the
discussion on Jewish ethics.
There will be a deli lunch be-
fore the lecture. The charge is $7.
