Nurse Speaks
On Medications

Using medicines wisely will be pre-
sented on Tuesday, June 6, at 1
p.m. at Jimmy Prentis Morris Jew-
ish Community Center by Sharon
Tomaszewski from the Oakland
County Health Department.This
program will be translated into
Russian and will include a film and
the latest information on generic
drugs.

Grandparents
Plan Outing

On Sunday, July 30, from 9:30 am.
to 4:30 p.m., the Maple-Drake Jew-
ish Community Center will offer
A Day at Camp Tamarack... For
Bubbie, Zaydie and Me! Grand-
parents and grandchildren will
spend a day at Camp Maas with
boating, crafts, Jewish music,
swimming, outdoor activities and
lunch. This event is not open to
grandparents who have grand-
children attending Tamarack that
season. It is recommended for chil-
dren in 2nd grade and up.
Cost: $25 per family of three; ad-
ditional children $5 each. Trans-
portation by motorcoach is
included. Call Lorraine Morris,

Hold Picnic

YAD and HMD will host college
students and young adults, single
or mail ied (kids are welcome), to
a Sunday, June 11, picnic from
noon to 4 p.m.
