honor teachers and aides on June
3, during Shabbat services.

Shalom Religious School and Hil-

Lanxner of Congregation Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses will pre-
sent "Turn Friday Night Into
Shabbat" on June 9. Friday
evening services will feature the
installation of the Men's Club of-
ficers and trustees, starting at
6:30 p.m. with dinner following
at 7:15 p.m. Adults are $10 and
children 10 and under are $4.50.

On Sunday, July 2, the syna-
gogue will dedicate the Harry and
Belle Ribiat Garden. Services will
be at 9 a.m. and a champagne
brunch will follow the dedication.

B'not Mitzvah
Five adult members of Adat
Shalom Synagogue will become
B'not Mitzvah during Shavuot
morning services on Sunday,
June 4. Susan Kutinsky, Sandra
Robbins, Leslie Tapper, Joyce
Weingarten and Andrea Wolfe
have studied since fall with Rab-
bi Efry Spectre and Cantor
Howard Glantz to prepare for
this occasion.
During the service, which be-
gins at 9 a.m., members of the
synagogue's post bat mitzvah
classes will chant the Book of
Ruth. Readers include: Barbara
Cook, Shula Fleischer, Annette
Greenstein, Nancy Handleman,
Brenda Weingarten, Ruth Wein-
garten, Shoshana Wolok, Esther
Liwazer.
A kiddush in honor of the B'not
Mitzvah will follow the service.
