of educational, religious, cultural and social/rehabilitative institutions
on a wooded 40-acre site in West Bloomfield.

The Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson of blessed memory,
following ancient tradition, places a natural rock as foundation for a
new Lubavitch World Headquarters in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Elul 18, 1988,
and proclaims a "Year of Building" for Lubavitch worldwide.
