outlet in Jerusalem, both among
those yearning for pepperoni, the
most popular topping in the Unit-
ed States, and for those who would
like to order a pizza on Shabbat.
However, he says, it is impossible
to maintain kosher and non-kosher

outlets in the same city. The brand
confusion would be too great, he
says.
Mr. Yogev says his main com-
petitor is Pizza Hut, even though the
chain's 18 outlets are mostly restau-
rants, with hardly any specializing
in deliveries. In addition, he adds,
there are dozens of independent
pizzerias around the country which
