Honors Set
by Adat Shalom
Adat Shalom Synagogue will
honor past and present leader-
ship at two special Shabbat ser-
vices Friday evening, June 2,
and Shabbat morning„ June 3.
In conjunction with the con-
gregation's 50th Anniversary
Celebration this year, Adat
Shalom will recognize its found-
ing members and past presi-
dents at a 7:30 p.m. Shabbat
evening service. There will be a
musical tribute, drawing upon
the synagogue's historical mo-
ments. An Oneg Shabbat will
follow.
On Shabbat morning, begin-
ning at 9 a.m., the congrega-
tion's youth will lead services in
the main sanctuary. The syna-
gogue will focus on the accom-
plishments of Adat Shalom's
past and present youth leader-
ship. Students will be recognized
who will attend Camp Ramah
Maas or travel to Israel on edu-
cational programs this summer.
Those Adat Shalom teens grad-
uating from Hillel Day School
this spring will also be hon-
ored.
Following the morning service
and kiddush, Adat Shalom
youth and their families are in-
vited to the congregation's an-
nual Ronnie Posen Youth
Luncheon. The luncheon pro-
gram will include an awards cer-
emony for current youth
leadership. The luncheon is of-
fered at no charge. Reservations

B'nai Moshe
Study Program
Congregation B'nai Moshe will
sponsor a family all-night study
program for Shavuot on Satur-
day, June 3, at 8:30 p.m. The
tikun is the last part of the three
series "Shalosh Regalim Pro-
gram" which includes the holi-
days of Sukkot, Pesach and
Shavuot.
Following the conclusion of
Shabbat services, Rabbi Pachter
will begin the Shavuot teach-
ing/study evening with a
Torah/Study titled "Reclimbing
Mount Sinai." Cantor Klein will
discuss "Akdamut." During the
evening, various members of the
congregation will lead mini-
study sessions.
The children will be led in
their own study tikun under the
supervision of Rita Abramson,
B'nai Moshe education director.
Tikun Ley1Shavuot will con-
clude on Sunday, June 4, at 6
a.m. with a sunrise Shacharit
service followed by breakfast.
