the first annual "Excellence in
Jewish Communal Service"
awards from Project STaR stu-
dents at the spring commence-
ment. Mr. Aronson, executive vice
president of the Jewish Federa-
tion of Metropolitan Detroit,
received the Professional Recog-
nition Award which recognizes
Dr. Anita Turtletaub, the At-
lanta Scholars Kollel and Con-
gregation Beth Jacob in Atlanta
will join forces to present an ex-
tended weekend for Orthodox
Jewish Singles of the United
States and Canada, May 26-29.
Singles 30 and up, who are se-
rious about getting married are
encouraged to attend. Dr. Turtle-
taub will facilitate.
The keynote speakers will be
Rabbi Ilan and Mrs. Miriam
Feldman. The Kollel rabbis will
add to the program with their in-
sights into "Relationships."
Shabbaton participants will
experience Southern hospitality
and get to see some of the sights
in Atlanta like the laser show on
Stone Mountain and the Coca-
Cola Museum.
