gagement of their son, Dr. Ed-
ward Alan Solomon, to Virginia
Shade Drescher, daughter of Dr.
Victor S. and Kathleen Shade
Drescher of Kittanning, Pa.
Virginia earned her bachelor's
degree in chemistry and nutri-
tion, with a minor in French,
from Indiana University of Penn-
sylvania. She earned her master
of science degree in biochemical
nutrition and her master of busi-
ness administration degree in
marketing from Michigan State

University. She is pursuing a ca-
reer in technical marketing.
Edward earned his bachelor of
science degree in psychology from
Michigan State University and
his medical degree from Michi-
gan State University's College of
Osteopathic Medicine. He is com-
pleting his internship at Garden
City Osteopathic Hospital, where
he has been accepted into a di-
agnostic radiology residency pro-
gram.
A July wedding at Bay Pointe
Country Club is planned with
Rabbi Paul M. Yedwab of Tem-
ple Israel officiating.
