Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz, di-
rector of Machon L'Torah, will
lead a series of lunchtime mini-
conference as part of the Jewish
Learning Network's ongoing
Torah exchange program. The
program will allow a 1/2 hour for
a deli lunch followed by a 40-
minute discussion. For informa-

The first of the series will be
held at the offices of Zwick and
Solomon, 3000 Town Center,
Suite 2300, in Southfield on Mon-
day, May 8, at 12:00 p.m. The top-
ic will be Jewish ethics. No
Hebrew background is required.
The program will be hosted by
Jack Zwick. The charge is $7.
The next mini-conference will
be held at Cigna Financial Ser-
vices, 26555 Evergreen, in the
Travelers Building: 16th floor on
Tuesday, May 9, at 12:30 p.m.
The topic is "Is Chutzpah Real-
ly Jewish?" The program will be
hosted by Stuart Selis. There is
no charge. -
There will be another educa-
tional lunchtime conference at
Henry Ford Hospital on Wednes-
day, May 10, at 11:45 a.m. Rab-
bi Jacobiovitz will lead a
discussion on "Attaining Jewish
Values... One at a Time." The
program will be hosted by Dr.
Barry Levine and Dr. Steve
Levine. The charge is $7.

mier at the JARC annual meet-
ing and election of officers on
Tuesday, May 23, at Temple Is-
rael at 8 p.m.
"Days of Joy," a 30-minute
video documentary produced by
Fran Victor and Bill Harder of
Victor/Harder Productions, Inc.,
recalls the 10 days that Jacob
Feldman, Harold Folkoff and
Lorraine Schwartz spent tour-
ing Israel in the spring of 1993.
The video documentary is
funded through the generosity of
the Benard L. Maas Foundation.
There is no charge for the event
and the public is welcome. As-
sign language interpreter will be
