Jeffrey Frank

Dr. Frank, who will receive
the State of Israel Jerusalem
City of Peace Award, is being rec-
ognized for his commitment tom
the Jewish community and ac-
tivity on Israel's behalf. A Zion-
ist from youth, he continues his
devotion to progress in the State
of Israel, as exemplified through
15 years of involvement with
State of Israel Bonds. A former
president, vice president and
board member of Temple
Emanuel, Dr. Frank also serves
as the temple's lay cantor, and
maintains activity with the
Grand Rapids Jewish Commu-
nity Fund (UJA). As town mohel,
Dr. Frank performs all of the rit-
ual circumcisions in Grand
Rapids.
Howard Stone has long been
an active American Jewish
Leader, having served as direc-
tor of the Zionist Organization of
America and director of the
Young Leadership Cabinet of the
United Jewish Appeal. Mr. Stone
has served as a consultant to
many American and Israel cor-
porations, and has also published
articles and poetry both here and
abroad.
