Scholarship Fund Applications Applications are being accepted for the Jewish Federation of Met- ropolitan Detroit 1995-96 educa- tion scholarship fund which provides financial assistance to families with children in formal Jewish Sunday, afternoon and evening schools. The scholarships, based on a family's financial need, are part of a larger initiative to encourage members of the community to join synagogues and temples while at the same time promot- ing Jewish education. Funds from the scholarships came from the proceeds to the Al- lied Jewish Campaign. Scholarships forms are avail- able at the schools and at the Agency for Jewish Education. Priority will be given to families who have current or pending membership in congregations. Completed applications must be returned to the school by June 30. Families will be notified by Au- gust if their child qualifies for a scholarship. For details, call Sarah Pedell at the AJE, (810) 354-1050.
