Fisher Building in Bloomfield Hills for a 9 a.m. breakfast reception to receive di- rections to a Core City Neigh- borhood location in Detroit or one of 12 Jewish Association for Res- idential Care (JARC) homes. Participants are asked to bring their own gardening equipment, hats and sunscreen. They will arrange their own transportation to the landscap- ing site. Forum Hosts Carol King On Monday, May 1, at 8:30 p.m., the Birmingham Temple will present Carol King, director of the Michigan Abortion Rights ac- tion League, as the first of four guest speakers on the theme "Confronting the Religious Right." Ms. King will discuss "The War Against Abortion Clinics." Carol King is a well-known spokesperson on feminist issues. In 1978 she was appointed Na- tional board of directors in 1980. She served in that capacity from 1980-86. There is no admission charge. Questions from the floor will fol- low the presentations.
