as a sleeping favorite
that has been allowed
to snooze, is known to

about it.

Compri Hotel, built
in 1987-88, it was
known as a good
place to stay but not
to dine ... Guests
knew about the lit-
tle self-serve conti-
nental breakfast
they could have in
the lobby ... The
change is quite dif-
ferent from that ...
Like night and day.

and full kitchen to
put out meals for Hilton Garden Inn's Karen Gill.

valuable to be hidden ... Except
for some minor differences, style
and presentation is almost iden-
tical to Joe Muer's on Gratiot.
GOOD NEWS for followers of
the fine Billy Rose musical ag-
gregation ... He'll open with his
quartet for listening and dancing
this Tuesday through May 27 at
Excalibur Restaurant, Franklin
and 12 Mile at Northwestern
Hwy.
IN THE SHORT time that
owners Faouzi and Jackie El-
Chemmas have been in Royal
Oak, the raves for their Middle-
Eastern Byblos restaurant has
continually increased ... It moved
