Ms. Allen, a social worker, is the director of CARE House, a program under the di- rection of Child Abuse and Ne- glect Council of Oakland County. Ms. Allen previously served as the co-ordinator of victim services for Mothers Against Drunk Dri- ving. She is a frequent speaker in the area of crime victimization. Adat Shalom History Tour Adat Shalom Synagogue mem- bers will explore the congrega- tion's roots on an afternoon bus tour of Jewish Detroit, set for Sunday, April 30.
