Million" read some of the signs
held by B'nai B'rith Youth Orga-
nization members who gathered
to protest the concept of Holo-
caust revisionism and remind the
community never to forget the
lessons of the Holocaust.
"It's important that we as Jew-
ish teens stand up against revi-
sionism," said Elyse Stettner,
who co-chaired the event with
Mark Snyder. "As the generation
of Holocaust survivors get older,
it's up to us to make sure people
remember."
The Rev. James Lyons of the

Ecumenical Institute for Jewish-
Christian Studies talked to the
teens about the revisionist mes-
sage.
Following the Rev. Lyons'
speech, BBYOers stood, signs in
hand, outside Orchard Lake Mid-
dle School. Plans for a march
down Orchard Lake and Maple
roads had to be altered because
of the morning snowstorm.
"We wanted people driving by
to see our signs and know the
Holocaust can happen again,"
said Ms. Stettner, a Huntington
Woods resident.
The Rev. Lyons offered exam-
ples of what a revisionist might
say, such as the concept of the
Holocaust being an excuse to sup-
