Raydiance hair additions are
easy to take care of and are un-
detectable to even the most ex-
perienced hair stylists. Each
piece is custom made as to hair
style, texture, color and exactly
what the individual's particular
needs are.
The Raydiance hair additions
are not wigs and they are not ex-
tensions of hair weaves which
can permanently damage the
hair. They are easy to wear, light-
weight and create a truly natu-
ral appearance.

sons in the Haggadah, this is a
child many parents describe as
driving them to distraction. Non-
stop whys are developmentally
typical of 3-year-olds, who are ty-
ing to make sense of a world in
which so much is new. But they
can add to the stress of the full-
time working parent who is pre-
occupied with a hundred other
concerns. First, ask why the child
is asking that question at that
time. Does he want information,
or is he dealing with some fear
and asking for reassurance? Per-
haps he is simply trying to get
your undivided attention. You
may need to tell him, "I can't an-
swer you right now, but we will
talk about it right after dinner"
— and do it. It helps to leave a lit-
tle time after work for both par-
ent and child to make the
transition to home. Creating
some regular special time for you
and your child alone also goes a
long way.
The rebellious child: Asking
provocative questions and "re-
moving oneself from the commu-
nity," as the Haggadah puts it, is
appropriate behavior for adoles-
cents, whose task is to work out
their own identity. Some younger
children may also respond in this
way. Consider whether the child

is behaving perversely because
adults in the past have respond-
ed to his questions by mocking or
demeaning. Keep in mind that if
he is asking, he is already in-
volved. Children absorb infor-
mation in different ways. For this
child, as for the one who does not
ask, indirect ways to draw him in
sometimes are most effective. Ap-
proach the subject through the
child's own interests. Allow her
to participate in a hands-on way.
Finally, you can talk about a sub-
ject with someone else, in the
child's presence. Make it part of
your family dinner conversation.
The wise child: Because the wise
child has a good background of
knowledge, he or she can pose
specific, well-formed questions.
What a joy it is for a parent to en-
gage in dialogue with a child who
genuinely wants to learn. The
parent's role is to foster this love
of learning in every way possible.
The seder presents the role of
parents as encouraging children
to ask questions. What to do,
however, with questions that par-
