Israel Study
Interviews

Applicants for the ZOA-Masada
Summer in Israel programs will
be interviewed by the Metro De-
troit ZOA Scholarship Commit-
tee on Sunday, April 30, from
9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the
Zionist Cultural Center in South-
field.
Twelve programs for appli-
cants aged 13 to 23 are being of-
fered by Masada for the summer
of 1995. These are Kibbutz Ex-
perience, Leadership Training,
Teen-age Tour, Israel Adventure
for the lovers nature and great
outdoors, Institute for Sports and
Water Sports, Bar-Mitzvah,
Community-program and
Shorashim exploring Jewish
roots in Poland and Israel. A pro-
gram tailor-made for repeat-vis-
itors also is available.
Members of the Scholarship
Committee are Richard Emmer,
Ezekiel Leikin, Dr. Ann Man-
delbaum-Mann and Drs. Diana
and Leon Warshay. Sidney Sil-
verman is founding-chairman.

Baby Boomers
Visit Exhibit

Professional Jewish single "Baby
Boomers" (30s-40s) will visit the
"Royal Tombs of Sipan" exhibit
at the Detroit institute of Arts
and dine in Windsor on Sunday,
April 23. Carpools will be
arranged.
Reservations are required by
Friday, April 14. There is a

Dinner, Dance
For Singles

The Singles Extension of Tern-
ple Israel will host a Chinese din-
ner/dance on Sunday, April 30,
at 6:30 p.m. at the temple.
Jewish singles, 50 and over,
