Food For Thought

Chicken, matzah, gefilte fish and horseradish were on the menu last week at Yad Ezra, the
kosher food bank, which served 1,185 families for Pesach. Volunteers prepared and delivered
the packages, which also included tuna, fruits and vegetables, eggs, oil and grape juice. The
project, the fourth sponsored by Yad Ezra and the Moies Chitim organization, was coordinated
at the newly reorganized Yad Ezra in Oak Park, which features new shelving and a conveyer
belt. Ann Newman and staff from the Frank W. Kerr Co. were in charge of the renovations.
