What's New
In
Hair Replacement?
;72
Hair transplantation has been performed over the years to treat baldness. In the
past, results frequently looked "pluggy" (i.e., like a toothbrush or a doll's head). New-
er techniques, which have been used within the last 5 years such as mini and micro-
grafting, have dramatically improved the natural appearance of Hair Replacement
Surgery.
Keynote speaker Michael Al-
bano of Independence, Mo., im-
mediate past president of the
academy, will discuss "Avoiding
Client Grievances."
Current academy president
Gerald Nissenbaum of Boston
will talk about "How To Prepare
Your Clients and Experts To Be
Witnesses."
For further information on the
seminar, call program chairman
Harvey Hauer, (810) 258-0800.
Most recently, new procedures have been developed in Hair Replacement Surgery.
These include "Mega Sessions" which consist of 1,000-2,000 transplanted grafts in a
single session, Laser Hair Transplantation and "Scalp Lifts," all of which are used at
the Seager Hair Transplant Centre.
Dr. David Seager
These innovations help surgical hair replacement to be achieved in a shorter period
of time and with fewer surgical procedures.

Bank Wants
Israel Involved

gation from the European In-
vestment Bank, which is

region projects that it could fi-
nance.
