he International Institute of Metropolitan
Detroit, Inc. and the city of Southfield
Community Relations Department will
present the eigth annual International Dance
Festival on Sunday, April 23, at the Southfield
Civic Center Pavilion.
The festival begins at 3:30 p.m. with
gourmet international foods provided by area
restaurants, including appetizers, entrées,
desserts, international coffees, wine and soft
drinks in an impressive buffet style service.
Enjoy continous music and dancing by 10
ethnic internaitonal music and dance groups,
each representing a different nationality, un-
til 7 p.m.

he Metropolitan Detroit Federation of Reform Syn-
agogues has appointed Dennis Frank and Phyllis
Strome as co-chairpersons of the Fund for Reform
Judaism dinner to be held at Temple Israel on June 1.

At that time, outstanding membersof the area's Re-
form congregations will be honored with Lamed Vav awards for distinguished service with-
in their individual congregations and within the community at large. This will be the 13th
annual award dinner.
The Fund for Reform Judaism is one of the means that provides for services of the Union
of American Hebrew Congregations, the Reform Movement's umbrella organization.
