Senior Events
At The JPM

The Annual Third Seder spon-
sored by the Charles & Frances
Driker Fund for Yiddish Culture
will take place on Tuesday, April
18, at noon at the Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Jewish Community
Center. Cantor Sidney Resnick,
accompanied by Lillian Zellman,
will lead this celebration. A
kosher meal will be served. Ad-
vance reservations are required;
no one will be admitted without
a ticket. There is a charge. Call
JPM, 967-4030, for information.
The Yiddish Culture Club,
sponsored by the Charles &
Frances Driker Fund for Yiddish
Culture will meet on Thursday.
April 13, at 12:30 p.m.
The weekly Wednesday Af-
ternoon Social at 1 p.m. is in need
of volunteer entertainers. If you
sign, dance or play an instru-
ment and have some time to
to an appreciative group of se-
nior adults, call 967-4030.

Treasures View
Holocaust Film

Temple Israel Treasures will pre-
sent Leonard Trunsky, who will
show a film titled Building the

Holocaust Museum in Washing-
ton. This film is narrated by Ed
Asner. The program will take
place at Temple Israel at noon,
Wednesday, April 26.
A luncheon will precede the
film. There is a charge for the
luncheon. For information, call
the temple office before April 17.
Reservations are a must.

Beth El
Plans Events

Tips on good health and the plea-
sure of good music will be offered
for seniors at Temple Beth El in
April. A Blue Cross-Blue Shield
Slide Presentation will alert the
Beth Elders to the role of proper
nutrition in the control of and
prevention of disease Tuesday,
April 18, at a noon luncheon. Mil-
ton Berle will serve as narrator
for the show.
On Sunday, April 30, the Mid-
dle Years Group will be enter-
tained by the Andover Jills, a
high school choral group. They
will present a program of spring
songs and year-round favorites.
The 1 p.m. program will be pre-
ceded by a cake and coffee at
12:30 p.m.
Both events are open to the
community. There is no charge
nor are reservations needed for
the April 30 program. There is a
charge for the April 18 luncheon
and reservations are necessary.

calling Jeanette Cohen, 737-
0194.
