JVS Project Outreach volun-
teers will bring Passover foods to
Detroit residents living in nurs-
ing and foster homes and apart-
ments isolated from the Jewish
community. Project Outreach
clients will participate in a seder
at noon April 18, at the Maple-
Drake Jewish Center, sponsored
by the Cooperative Council of the
League of Jewish Women's Or-
ganizations.
Sinai Hospital will provide
seder plates and haggadot for pa-
tients on the first two nights of
Passover. Kosher-for-Passover
meals will be available to all Jew-
ish patients throughout the holi-
day. Provisions will be made for
patients to observe Passover with
relatives and guests.
Teens from throughout the for-
mer Soviet Union who have come
to Israel without their parents on
the "Na'aleh 16" program get a
taste of Passover at the Nahalat
Yehudah Youth Aliyah Village.
More than 2,500 teens have left
their war-torn republics for safe-
haven in Israel with the help of
Detroiters through the Allied
Jewish Campaign.
