p.m., the Young Israel of South-
field and Metropolitan Council of
Young Israel will sponsor a for
women only lecture on personal
safety tips and defense tech-
niques. Sgt. Roberts of the South-
field Crime Prevention Bureau
will address the group.
The session will be held at the
Young Israel of Southfield, 27700
Lahser Road, and is open to all

bachelor of fine arts degree in
voice from Carnegie Mellon Uni-
versity and a master's in vocal
performance from the New Eng-
land Conservatory of Music. She
received her master's in sacred
music and investiture from He-
brew Union College-Jewish In-
stitute of Religion in New York
City.

Holds Meeting
