Shaarey Zedek
Purim Plans

Congregation Shaarey Zedek will
have a Purim Extravaganza on
March 15 at 6:30 p.m. Children
will have their pictures taken
with Big Bird, Cookie Monster
and Betman. There will be a jug-
gler and a masquerade parade.
At 7 p.m. the megillah will be
read. Magician Jim Carmody will
perform Purim Magic. Children
will participate in the parade and
an afterglow until 8:30 p.m.
From 8-9 p.m., grades 3-5 will
have Games Night featuring two
miniature golf courses, new video
games and an ice cream social.
Grades 5-7 will dance with
Star Trax DJ D. Brown and will
enjoy an ice cream social.
High school students will en-
joy a Purim Se'udah (feast) and
dance.

Music Shabbat
At Emanu-El

On Friday, March 10, at 8:15
p.m., the Temple Emanu-El
Adult Choir, directed by Cantor
Norman Rose, will present "Yes-
terday, Today and Tomorrow:
Celebrating Reform Judaism in
Song." The narration for this
program was written by Rabbi
Lawrence A. Hoffman and edited
by Rabbi Daniel Freelander.
Temple Emanu-El's Music
Shabbat is open to the public.

Beit Kodesh
Purim Carnival

Congregation Beit Kodesh will
have its annual Purim Carnival
11 a.m.-2 p.m. March 12, at the
synagogue.
There will be games, prizes;
lunch will be available for pur-
chase. Tickets may be bought at
the door or in advance. For in-
formation, call Larry Stein, 421-
5945.

Lunch, Learn

Ruth Bergman will be the pre-
senter at Congregation Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses' lunch and
learn program titled "Partner-
ship with the Divine: Searching
