Couples Meet
1 I JEWISH CENTER
Interfaith couples face many
issues concerning raising chil-
dren, dealing with parents, cele-
brating holidays, handling life-
cycle events, and blending two
backgrounds in one household.
At each of the five group ses-
sions, Dr. Berg will present a
topic to discuss first as a group
and then separately as couples.
Couples will have the facilitat-
ed opportunity for clarifying be-
liefs and values and for resolving
conflicts in a productive and
compassionate way.
Dr. Berg is a licensed clinical
psychologist and a certified
couples therapist. She has
worked extensively with chil-
dren, adolescents, and families
and her work in parental guid-
ance led to her interest in mar-
ital relationships. She has a
private practice with offices in
Ann Arbor and Southfield.
The group will meet Sundays,
from 5 to 7 p.m., on March 5, 12,
19, 26, and Thursday, April 9.
Visiting rabbis from the com-
munity will attend to answer
questions and baby sitting will
be available.
There is a fee for the five ses-
sions. For information, call the
JCC, 971-0990.
