The community is invited to
Yeshivas Darchei Torah's fourth
annual One Stop Purim Shop on
Sunday, March 5, from 1-5 p.m.
at the Agency for Jewish Edu-
cators, 21550 W. 12 Mile Rd.,
Southfield.
To help families celebrate
Purim, children's costumes and
an array of shaloch manot sup-
plies (baskets, boxes, candy,
nosh, wine, grape juice, etc.) will
be sold.
A special children's program,
featuring Dr. Robert Buxbaum's
Amazing Science Extravaganza,
a Purim puppet show, arts and
crafts, videos will keep the chil-
dren entertained from 1-5 p.m.

Celebrate Purim
At Beth Shalom

Congregation Beth Shalom will
host a Purim happening on
Wednesday, March 15, at 5:30
p.m. at the synagogue.
A pizza dinner will be served;
there will be a magic show, cos-
tume parade and contest,
megillah reading and haman-
tashen.
The reading of the megillah
will begin at 7 p.m. There is a
charge for dinner.

Evening Set

Rabbi Sherwin T. Wine will de-
scribe the philosophy and the
programs of the Birmingham
Temple and of Humanistic Ju-
daism in an informal setting at
a Wednesday evening gathering
in the temple library March 1, at
7:30 p.m.

Plans Classes

Temple Shir Shalom will offer
adult education classes beginning
in March. Classes will be offered
in the evenings beginning at 7
p.m. Introduction to Judaism,

Jews in American History will be
offered.
