Open House
For New Camp
There's a new camp and Temple
Beth El Nursery will introduce
it to the community at an open
house, Sunday, March 5, from
3:30 to 5 p.m. at the temple. On
hand to acquaint children and
their parents with the brand-
new Temple Beth El Nursery
Summer Camp and familiarize
them with its facilities will be
the nursery's new director, Mrs.
Marlene Thav, several of the
nursery staff and the Big Yellow
Bird.
The Beth El Nursery Day
Camp is geared to youngsters
aged 18 months to 5 years with
both a Parent-Tot and All By
Myself program for children 18
months to 3 years and a pre-
school program for youngsters,
2 3 to 5 years. Featured camp ac-
tivities include arts and crafts,
sports, science, nature, water
play and more.
Families may select from two,
three, five, six and eight-week
sessions and two, three and
five half-and full-day programs.
Financial incentives are avail-
able for members and non-mem-
bers alike. No reservations are
necessary for the open house.

Sephardic
Purim Party
The Sephardic Community of
Greater Detroit will hold its
annual Purim party on Wednes-
day, March 15, at Congregation
Beth Achim in Southfield. The
megillah reading beginning at
6:15 p.m., will be led by Cantor
Sasson Natan. A se'udah will fol-
low the service.
