As part of its commitment to en-
hancing Jewish education in the
metro-Detroit area, Ohr Somay-
ach International will provide a
series of specially designed pro-
grams for the residents of the
Federaton Apartments. The Res-
ident Program will focus on is-
sues of contemporary Jewish law
and Jewish philosophy. The staff
of Ohr Somayach International
will present the programs on a
monthly basis at the Ten Mile
and Maple/Drake Federation
Apartment campuses.
The first program will be pre-
sented by Ohr Somayach staff
educator Rabbi Rothbart, who
will deal with abortion in Jewish
law. The program will take place
on Monday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. in
the Federation Apartments on
Ten Mile Road.
The programs are free of

Shatzman, Carol Smolder, Bri-
an Tauber, David R. Victor and
Jane Sherman, ex officio. The
visit is coordinated by Tova Dorf-
man, Federation's Partnerhip
