their daughter, Lauren Jennifer,
to Michael David Smith, son of
Kathy and David Smith of York,
Pa.
Lauren earned a bachelor of
arts degree in psychology at
Rollins College in Winter Park,
Fla., and a master's degree in so-
cial work at the University of
Michigan. She is employed as a

psychotherapist at Washtenaw
County Community Mental
Health in Ann Arbor.
Mike earned a bachelor of sci-
ence degree in electrical engi-
neering at Cornell University and
a master's degree at the Univer-
sity of Michigan. He is complet-
ing a Ph.D. in electrical
engineering at U of M.
A May wedding is planned at
Temple Israel.
