he first Movies for Maccabi
fund-raiser was held Feb.
5 at the Pontiac Showcase
Cinema. More than 200
patrons attended the movie of
their choice and were treated to
kosher hot dogs, chips and soft
drinks.
Madee Adelson and Jill
Spokojny were chairmen of the
event, which attracted patrons of
all ages. In addition to the hard-
working parent volunteers, many
former Maccabi athletes, like
Chad De Wolf and Julia
Music, were on hand to mingle
with friends and promote Mac-
cabi.

and Barbara Friedman were
busy taking tickets Alan Horo-

as usual; about how won-
derful the Maccabi experience is
for children.

The Auxiliary and Benefactors of
the Jewish Home for Aged
recently held their fifth annual
Millionaires Party at Tam
O'Shanter Country Club.

CAMP FAIR
Don't miss the "Super Summer
for Kids: A Camp and Activities
Fair" beginning at 11 a.m.
Sunday, Feb. 26, at West Hills
Middle School on Lone Pine
Road in West Bloomfield. The
camp fair will showcase over
60 local, national and Cana-
dian programs. Parents and
kids will have the opportunity
to meet with representatives
from each program to ask
questions and receive a
reference directory.
