Dinner For
JCC Maccabi

A lasagna dinner will be held on
Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Jewish
Community Center of Washte-
naw County, 5:30 to 7 p.m. to
benefit the JCC Maccabi team.
The meal will help send young
Jewish athletes from Washtenaw
County to the North American
Maccabi Youth Games in Colum-
bus, Ohio, this summer. There is
a charge.

The sensitivity of anti-Semitism
and the issues it presents in in-
terfaith marriages will be dis-
cussed by Dr. John Hartman on
Sunday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., in the
final session of the Jewish Com-
munity Center of Washtenaw
County's current Interfaith se-
ries. Reservations are needed and
there is a fee.

On Liberalism

American Jews and the Crisis of
Liberalism will be presented by
Dr. Jacob Cohen at the Jewish
Community Center of Washte-
naw County on Sunday, Feb. 19,
at 10 a.m. Dr. Cohen will also be
speaking at Temple Beth Emeth
Friday night services Feb. 17. His
visit is jointly sponsored by Jew-
ish Family Services, the Jewish
Federation, and Temple Beth
Emeth.

Extravaganza

Ann Arbor Chapter of Hadassah
will present the 11th annual
Chocolate Extravaganza Sunday,
March 26 at the Sheraton Inn of
Ann Arbor situated off 1-94, exit
177 State Street.
There will be three identical
chocolate tasting sessions: noon
to 1:30 p.m., 2 to 3:30 p.m. and
4 to 5:30 p.m.
The admission price will not
only include samples from each
of the 25 exhibitors, but also
demonstrations, displays and en-
tertainment. There will be door
prizes at each session.Chocolate
