I had the opportunity to meet
Ms. Matlins and discuss her fa-

When I mentioned I was writing an article for the annual bridal issue of Style magazine, pub-
lished by The Jewish News, she told me her family specializes in all things that begin with "j-e-w."
Her father, Antonio C. Bonnano, is a master gemologist appraiser. She co-authored the books
I mentioned with him. Her husband, Stuart Matlins, is owner of Jewish Lights Publishing, a na-

While we were visiting in Steve Tapper's office, I asked Steve, whose hobby is photography,
to take a photograph of us. He did a fine job, but unfortunately he did not make me look like

Cindy Crawford. (Steve, I'm sure it's the camera.)
On the subject of photography and beautiful models, please note "A Wedding Album," a fea-
ture in which Style asked local photographers to submit some of their favorite wedding photos.
We've also included some non-bridal stories. Take note of our ski vacation story and the
recipes for decadent chocolate goodies. By the way, don't eat too many of those sweets. Our
March Style issue, with the latest fashions, will be here before you know it.
