Photo Memories
For Sisterhood

The sisterhood of Temple Kol
Ami will host a program titled
"Picture Perfect - Organizing your
Photo Memories" on Wednesday,
Feb. -1 at 7:15 p.m. at the temple.
Laurie Goldstein from Creative
Memories -will present a hands-
on workshop on preserving those
precious photos safely and cre-
atively. Bring 12 to 24 recent pho-
tos, scissors and a ball point pen
to create a two-sided album page.

Teen Self-Esteem
Workshop Set

Jewish Family Services of Washt-
enaw County will present a free
workshop series beginning Feb.
5 with Lynn Kleiman Malinoff on
"Developing Capable People in a
Self-Indulgent World."
The programs are designed to
help both children and adults re-
duce family conflict, encourage
self-esteem and build confidence.
The presentation in Ann Arbor
is one in a nine-series workshop.
Ms. Malinoff is teacher con-
sultant for the alternative high
school program in the Wayne-
Westland Community Schools as
well as the district's Drug Free
Schools and Community coordi-
nator. Her presentation will be
held at the Washtenaw JCC from
9:30 a.m. to noon. Call JFS for

Jewish Arts
Evening Set

The University Musical Society
and Hillel's Celebration of Jew-
ish Arts will present Israeli
singer/songwriter Noa and her
musical partner, acoustical gui-
tarist Gil Dor, Thursday, Feb. 9
at 8 p.m. at Power Center.
This program is part of the Mid
East/West Fest International
Community Cultural Exchange.
Tickets are available at Hillel and
the University Musical Society.

Washtenaw County/United Jew-
ish Appeal, has been elected to
the 1995 Council of Jewish Fed-
erations' Executive Committee.
Smokier is the Federation's im-
