A 15-part course titled "The Purposes of Jewish Living" is taught by Rabbi Julian Cook, fo- cusing on Jewish philosophy, his- tory, and theology, using text study. Also new is the host site for the Thursday night Melton Mini-School classes: Congrega- tion Beth Shalom for the balance of the school year. The Monday morning Melton Mini-School class continues at Hadassah House in West Bloomfield. In addition, the Women's League for Conservative Ju- daism-Michigan Branch and the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit are now partners in the Melton Mini- School. There will be a series of "Taste of Melton" previews held throughout the community this spring for adult learners who are considering enrolling.
