STANLEY CHARLES SHAPIRO, 51, former Detroiter of Beverly Hills, Calif., died Jan. 11. Mr. Shapiro was an attorney who practiced law in Detroit for 10 years. He was a graduate of Central Michigan University and the University of Detroit Law School. Mr. Shapiro made aliyah but came back to settle in Cali- fornia. He visited Israel 15 times and made several visits to Holo- caust sites in Europe. He was a board member of the Interna- tional Holocaust Sites Preserva- tion Committee.
