public affairs programs. More
than 450 entries were received
for the 1995 competition, and
115 finalists were chosen in 45
categories.

nishings Representatives of
Michigan.
Mrs. Mittenthal was a mem-
ber of the design team at Wal-
ter Herz Interiors for 10 years
before joining the design de-
partment at Gorman's Gallery
of Fine Furniture in 1987.
In the fall of 1994, Mrs.
Mittenthal resigned from Gor-
man's to become an in depen-
dent designer.
Mrs. Mittenthal earned a
bachelor's degree in fine arts
and a master's in interior de-
sign from Wayne State Uni-
versity.
