Imam Abdullah Bey El-Amin,
chairman and co-founder of the
Muslim Center in Detroit, will be
the guest speaker at the Broth-
erhood Shabbat Service Jan. 13,
8:15 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El.
The Muslim Center is a mosque
founded with the express purpose
of inter-faith dialogue and out-
reach.
Imam El-Amin is a member of
the executive board of NAACP, a
member of the Council of Imams
of Detroit, and a member of the
Detroit Interfaith Roundtable.
He also is a manager of a Neigh-
borhood City Hall for Mayor Den-
nis Archer, and serves on
numerous boards and commit-
tees.
