Shira Goodman and Dr. Alan
Woronoff were married at Con-
gregation Adat Jeshurun in
Elkins Park, Pa. Co-officiating at
the ceremony were Rabbi Sey-
mour Rosenbloom and uncles of
the bride, Rabbis Simcha Freed-
man and David Herman, along
with Cantor Charles Davidson
and grandfather of the bride,
Cantor Louis Herman.
Shira is the daughter of Rickey
and Steve Goodman of Hunting-
don Valley, Pa. Alan is the son of
Beverly and Ralph Woronoff of
West Bloomfield. Rachel Good-
man, sister of the bride, was maid
of honor. The bridesmaids were
Marcy Wasserman, sister of the
groom; Stephanie Pashman;

was the best man. Groomsmen
were Brad Wasserman, brother-
in-law of the groom; Matt Gold-

was Malka Sara Herman, cousin
of the bride. Ring bearer was
Daniel Wasserman, nephew of
the groom. Also participating in
the ceremony were Dorothy
Sweet, grandmother of the
groom, and Cantor Louis and
Yetta Herman, grandparents of
the bride.
Following a honeymoon in
Barbados, Shira and Alan reside
in Philadelphia.

The Detroit Gallery of Contem-
porary Crafts opens the year with
the Figures and Baskets of Amer-
jean artist Anne Mayer Meier.
Ms. Meier's mixed-media ap-
proach has won her national and
international attention from doll
collectors, basketry experts and
interior designers. Her pieces are
included in numerous permanent
collections.
The Figures and Baskets of
Anne Mayer Meier can be seen
through Feb. 25 at the Detroit
Gallery of Contemporary Crafts.

The gallery is located on the main
floor of Detroit's Fisher Building.
Gallery hours are Monday-Fri-
day 10-6, and Saturday 11-5. The
gallery is open from 8 p.m. on
Fisher Theater nights. Call (313)
