Aging
The Oak Park Senior Center
will offer a free program deal-
ing with depression in older
adults. Dr. Sara Gelberd of
Sinai Hospital's Senior As-
sessment Clinic and Kathleen
McGuire of Catholic Social
Services will lead the program
on Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. Preregis-

Hospice
Hospice of Southeastern
Michigan needs volunteers, es-
pecially during the day. Hos-
pice will offer three training
courses and prospective vol-
unteers should attend one of
them: Jan. 17 and Jan. 19,
noon to 4 p.m. at the Hospice
office in Milford. Participants
must attend both sessions.
Jan. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. at the Hospice office
in Pontiac. The third course
will be held Jan. 24 and
Jan. 26 from 6 p.m. until 10
p.m. at the Crossroads Office
Building in Southfield. Par-
ticipants must attend both ses-
sions.
In addition, a general clin-
ical training will be held on
Jan. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. All volunteers joining the
Oakland team must attend
