More Production,
But Fewer Jobs
Industrial production in Israel
jumped 8 percent in the first 10
months of the year compared
with the same period last year,
the Central Bureau of Statistics
reported.
However, increases in indus-
trial jobs lagged behind the ex-
pansion of industrial productivity.
