III. Playing It Safe

If you're going biking, prepare yourself with: A bike,
helmet, brightly colored wind breaker, reflective
vest, bike light, reflectors, padded biking gloves, and
water bottle (should you get thirsty en route to your
destination).

If you're thinking about in-line skating, make sure
you wear: In-line skates, a helmet, wrist guards (es-
pecially important. Broken wrists are the most com-
mon injuries among in-line skaters), knee pads,
