Berkley beat Hazel Park 34-27 and Royal Oak Kimball 42-13 in a double-dual meet Dec. 21 at Hazel Park. It was the Bears' first win over Hazel Park in Bruce Burwitz's seven years as coach and perhaps the first in history. Hazel Park is one of the top contenders to win the championship in Division I of the Oakland Activities Associa- tion. Kimball is a favorite in Di- vision II.
