at the restaurant looking out that
everything is to complete satis-
faction ... In 1995, Johnny and
Marion's 21-year-old son, Peter,
will graduate from Central Michi-
gan in hotel and restaurant man-
agement and food service, to
come into the business with his
dad and Uncle Peter.
The solid oak bar with its sev-
en stools is as strong as the per-
son in whose memory it was built
... George Ginopolis ... Johnny
and Pete's father ... It's solid oak
including the heavy-looking back
bar ... Cigar smoking is allowed
in the tall-glass-partitioned bar-
lounge area with its five booths,
some reserved every day by the
same people.
A four-sided clock now stands
on the Ginopolis' On The Grill
property at 12 Mile and Middle-
belt ... built by the Verdin Clock
Co. in Cincinnati, builders of
clocks since 1842 ... It has been
erected by Johnny and Pete with
wording on a plaque at the base
to tell of it being in memory of
their mother, Florence Ginopo-
lis, and father, George Ginopolis
... The London, England-like
clock is sort of a reminder that
their mom and dad are there
watching over them every minute
of the day.

etc. ... Even a "Young Adults "
sector of the menu for 12 and un-
der.
A separate daily menu lists as
many as 17 fish and seafood
items with only those selected by
Johnny, Peter and their chefs
available and having prices list-
ed.
But with all the personalities
and luminaries that come to Gi-
nopolis' On The Grill, the biggest
celebrities to Johnny and Pete
are their customers ... Without
them, the brothers strongly say,
"all this would never have hap-
pened."
If the walls at Ginopolis' On
The Grill could talk, they sure
would have some doozy stories to
tell ... Next time there, listen
closely ... Who knows? ... If the
walls won't tell you, maybe that
celebrity or local personality at
the next table will.
