FORMER KMART employees
who were fired by the company
earlier this month have been of-
fered free placement services by
Jerry Kaufman, president of
MP3/America's Agency.
Mr. Kaufman, 40, is an attor-
ney and economist. His company
has offices in Berkley and Bev-
erly Hills, Calif.
"I was outraged and appalled
by the insensitivity of Kmart to
its loyal employees when it fired
900 of them during the holiday
season," Mr. Kaufman said. "It's
especially ironic for Kmart to be
doing the firing now because so
much of Kmart's business is de-
pendent on the holiday season."
Phone numbers for Mr. Kauf-
man's Berkley office are (810)
358-9877 and (810) 544-0425
(fax).
